Three-dimensional numerical studies of the influence of the number of fuel jets and their location, the angle of inclination on the mixture formation and combustion of the air-fuel mixture in the engine combustion chamber were carried out. Based on the performed three-dimensional calculations, full-scale experiments were carried out on similar fuel equipment of an experimental engine.

Several options for cylinder block liners are proposed. Three-dimensional strength calculations of their various modifications were carried out. Three-dimensional hydrogasdynamic calculations of the combustion chamber of the engine are carried out.
